Frequently asked questions
How is the word count calculated?
Text is trimmed and split on whitespace, so multiple spaces between words don't inflate the count.
How are sentences counted?
QuickTiny splits on sentence-ending punctuation (. ! ?) and counts the resulting non-empty segments. It's an estimate, not a linguistic parser.
Is my text stored anywhere?
No. Counting happens locally in your browser and nothing is saved or transmitted.
