Privacy

QuickTiny is built to process your data locally whenever possible. This page explains exactly what happens to your files and text for each part of the site.

Browser-first tools

All of QuickTiny's free tools — Image Compressor, Word Counter, Clean Text, JSON Formatter, SEO Slug Generator, Case Converter, Remove Duplicate Lines, Sort Lines, Base64 Encode/Decode, URL Encode/Decode, Timestamp Converter, Password Generator, Batch Image Compressor — run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files and text are never uploaded to QuickTiny's servers, and QuickTiny does not store, log, or have any access to what you type or upload into these tools. Closing the tab discards everything.

QuickTiny Pro (Batch Image Compressor)

Batch compression itself also happens locally in your browser — your images are never uploaded. The only server communication for this feature is the PayPal checkout: when you purchase QuickTiny Pro, PayPal handles the payment and QuickTiny's backend (a small set of Vercel serverless functions) creates and confirms the order with PayPal's API. QuickTiny does not receive or store your card details — that's handled entirely by PayPal. After a successful payment, QuickTiny stores a small unlock flag (quicktiny_pro) in your browser's local storage so the batch tool stays unlocked on that browser.

What we don't do

Analytics

QuickTiny may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (such as Vercel Analytics) to understand overall traffic and improve the site. This does not involve tracking individual users across other sites or selling personal data.
