Does this integrate directly with Shopify?
No. QuickTiny doesn't connect to your Shopify store or claim any official affiliation with Shopify. You compress your images here, then upload the resulting files yourself through Shopify's normal media uploader.
What happens to transparent PNGs, like product cutouts?
Batch Pro exports JPG files, which don't support transparency. Any transparent areas are filled with white before compression, so a transparent product cutout will end up on a white background.
Does this resize the image dimensions?
No. Compression reduces file size at the same width and height — it doesn't crop or resize your photos.
Is there a limit on how many images I can compress?
You can select as many images as your browser can comfortably handle in one batch. Very large batches (hundreds of high-resolution photos at once) may be slower since everything runs on your device.
